How to adjust Trekking Poles:
The forearm which holds the pole must be at right angles with the arm along the body. when walking downhill or when pushing hard on poles mountainous terrain, during raids, for example, you may need to increase their length. to adjust them: unscrew the middle section, beneath the ring of the lower section, adjust to size (in cm), and screw back on tightly, but not too much; repeat with lower section. never go over the "stop line", or the pole may break whilst in use.
